A free primary care home for low-income uninsured residents of the Upper Keys.

Good Health Clinic - Free Clinic provide secondary and tertiary specialized medical care to the uninsured indigent residents of the Upper Keys through a clinic staffed by community volunteer physicians and nurses.

The Good Health Clinic sees patients by appointment only and does not accept emergency visits.

The Good Health Clinic is a private not-for-profit supported by grants and individual donors (see Our Supporters). Uninsured, low-income residents of the Upper Florida Keys who meet the eligibility requirements use the Good Health Clinic as their primary care home.

Medical Care is provided inside the clinic and outside the clinic at the offices of our Volunteer Referral Network participants.

The Good Health Clinic is a private not-for-profit dedicated to providing healthcare for those in need. Funding is provided by grants and individual donors. In order to receive care at the Good Health Clinic individuals must fill out an application to determine if they meet the eligibility requirements. Accepted applications are valid for 1 year, after which patients must re-apply.

Eligibility Requirements to be a Good Health Clinic Patient:

1. Upper Keys resident for at least 6 months (mm 72 -113)
2. Income at or below 200% Federal Poverty Level
3. No health insurance of any kind
4. At least 18 years old

To apply, submit a completed application with all required documents. Applications may be dropped off in-person or submitted by fax or email. For questions, contact a Good Health Clinic Patient Care Coordinator.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
