Yavapai County Parcel Search

Such changes to the parcels that would cause acres to change which may not be recorded are a private driveway which was changed into a county maintained road may take some acreage away from a parcel. The neighboring parcel may not be updated with new acreage unless the neighboring parcel was re-recorded with the County Recorder’s office and the parcel legal description is updated by a surveyor.

Another parcel change that would affect the acres of a parcel is when a parcel is split, areas in a new split parcel that will be given the balance acre value from the overall parcel split. Since the parcel maintenance system is not survey accurate all parcels are best-fit. (Best-fit meaning creating new parcels within existing geometry without greatly modifying all parcel areas.)
